Andre Ethier picked for All-Star Game final vote

Five players in the National League, including former Sun Devil and current Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier, have been selected for the All-Star Game Final Vote after rosters for both leagues were announced Sunday.

Ethier is trying to make the All-Star Game for the second straight year, this time in his hometown. The Phoenix, Arizona native and St. Mary's High School product is hitting .322 with seven homers and 41 RBI and earlier this season had a 30-game hitting streak.

At ASU, Ethier hit .371 and was a First Team All-Pac-10 selection in each of his two seasons.

Fans can vote for Ethier at mlb.com or by texting "N1" to 89269 (message and data rates apply) with voting ending on Thursday.
