The association received three design awards for issues of ASU Magazine that were produced last year, including the Inspiring Icons Spread in the May 2010 issue, the Fields of Green Spread from the September 2010 issue, and Robots Robots Everywhere cover from September 2010’s issue as well.
The Alumni Association also received awards for design of the Founder’s Day Program 2011 campaign materials and design of the SAA Membership Card. Another two awards were given to the association for the design of a brochure and branding materials for the Arizona State Young Alumni program.
All Alumni Association materials were designed by a graphic design team that included Robert Cao-Ba, art director; Karen Windsor-Worrel, senior graphic designer; and graphic design assistant Mindy DuPonte.
The 2011 American Inhouse Design Awards boasted more than 4,000 entries. This is the fifth year in a row that the ASU Alumni Association received an award from the organization.
