Four Texas organizations earn recognition in Sun Devil 100 Class of 2025

Arizona State University has a distinguished legacy of producing alumni who excel across various industries, as demonstrated through the ASU Alumni Association’s prestigious Sun Devil 100 program. This year, four alums in Texas are leading organizations that have been appointed to the Sun Devil 100 Class of 2025. 
 

Bryan Clary

In 2017, Bryan Clary co-founded William Price Distilling Company, a Houston-based craft distillery renowned for its innovative spirits and commitment to quality. Clary and his business partner desired to create exceptional products and foster a welcoming community gathering space. In the

 Sun Devils’ inaugural Big 12 season, William Price Distilling became the official home for ASU alumni game-watching parties in the Houston area. Clary also serves on the Houston Leadership Council. During his time at ASU, he was actively involved in the MBA Entrepreneurship Society and the MBA Golf Association, reflecting his broad interests and leadership capabilities.

As president of BSN SPORTS, Terrence Babilla leads one of the nation's largest distributors of team sports apparel and equipment. Since joining the company in 1995, he has been instrumental in its growth and evolution.

Babilla has led more than 100 mergers and acquisitions, including significant deals like the acquisitions of Lids' team sports division and Eastbay's team sales business. His strategic vision has firmly positioned BSN SPORTS as a leader in the sporting goods industry.

“I love building a business into an industry leader by constantly innovating and incorporating new strategies in our business model, bringing positive returns to our customers, employees and shareholders,” Babilla says.

Scott Powers is the CEO of Elara Caring, one of the nation's largest providers of home-based care. 

The organization delivers a comprehensive range of services, including home health, hospice, personal care and behavioral health. Under his leadership, Elara Caring has expanded its

 reach, providing essential health care services to patients across multiple states. At ASU, Powers was a member of Phi Gamma Delta, reflecting his commitment to leadership and service.
 

Beth Myers

Beth Myers is the CEO of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, a nonprofit organization that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold. 

With more than 30 years of experience in public service, Myers leads initiatives that empower young girls through education and mentorship programs, fostering their development into confident and successful individuals.

“I knew early in my professional career that I wanted to make a difference on a more macro level, and leading a nonprofit organization was a way to do that,” Myers says. “What I learned in my graduate work at ASU was critical to my success as a leader in the nonprofit organizations I have served.”

Her dedication to the university is further exemplified by her consecutive recognition in the Sun Devil 100, being part of both the Class of 2024 and 2025. Myers also serves on ASU’s Dallas Leadership Council. 


Recognition in the Sun Devil 100
The Sun Devil 100 is an annual business recognition program hosted by the ASU Alumni Association that honors the fastest growing alumni-owned or -led organizations. To be considered, companies must have been in business for at least three years, have revenues of $250,000-plus for the past three years and operate in a manner consistent with the ASU Charter.

This year’s cohort includes a record-breaking 145 organizations led by 206 exceptional alumni, collectively reporting a total revenue of $70.7 billion for the 2023 fiscal year and employing nearly 257,000 full-time professionals across 14 states and two countries.
