Global Leaders Join Doctoral Seminar on Communication for Social Change
In May 2024, Professor Uttaran Dutta of the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication addressed the United Nations at the 9th Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a high-level respondent, Professor Dutta shared his expertise on the transformative roles of science, technology, and innovation in addressing SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). Building on his experience at the United Nations, Professor Dutta is hosting the 'Communication for Social Change' Guest Speaker Series 2024 as part of his doctoral seminar 'Communication for Social Change: Theories and Praxis' [COM 691] this fall.
