Now, ASU is taking a closer look at that complex ecosystem through its new Center for Olympic Studies.

The human gut microbiome may help explain why certain people are more inclined to have metabolic disease — and may also provide a key to new treatments and diagnostics for various conditions, according to an ASU scientist.
