Gallery: Students move in, attend welcome events for fall 2023

Nearly 80,000 students are joining ASU on a campus or location this fall, and this month ASU is greeting them with a variety of welcome and move-in events.
From learning the fight song to volunteering to listening to motivational speakers, there's no shortage of ways for new and returning students to get into the Sun Devil spirit for the fall semester.
Here we take a look at move-in and some of those Fall Welcome events below.

Third-year students Valerie Loera (left), Yumi Toulegenova and Andrea Aguilar make garden kits as part of the Sparky Day of Service event on the Polytechnic campus on Aug. 16. The Welcome Week event, sponsored by Changemaker Central in coordination with Valley of the Sun United Way, brought student volunteers together to create kits with packages of dirt, seed packets and labels.
