The ASU Alumni Association hosts the official game day celebrations all season long, for all ages. This is your official guide to cheering on the Sun Devils — near and far!
Sparky’s Touchdown Tailgates
Amp up for kickoff at home games and select away games with the premier pregame experience for ASU fans. Show up three hours before kickoff for live entertainment, food trucks, a beer garden, giveaways and special appearances by the Sun Devil Marching Band and Sparky. Save the dates for Sparky’s Touchdown Tailgates coming up this season. Tailgates are free, family-friendly and located on College Avenue, between Sixth and Seventh streets.
Current ASU students can join the Programming and Activities Board for the “Student Kick Off Zone” at Sparky’s Touchdown Tailgate. Sun Devils will get ready to Ignite the Inferno with games, food, student organization tables and exclusive giveaways!
Friday Night Inferno
The night before the UCLA and Washington football games, meet fellow ASU fans at a local spot for a spirited gathering. Enjoy drink and food specials. Learn more about the festivities in Pasadena and Seattle this football season.
Sparky’s Pep Rally
The day before each game, tune in online to Sparky’s Pep Rally. Hear commentary on the week’s opponent from Sun Devil advocates Joe Healey, "Speak of the Devils" co-host, and Rob Reyes, known as “Jedi ASU,” with guest appearances from former athletes and coaches.
Chapter game watching
Can’t attend the game? Check if your local alumni chapter is hosting a game watching party at a spot near you. Cheer on the team with fellow Sun Devil fans in your city.
Legends Luncheon: Oct. 29
Die-hard Sun Devil fans unite at the Legends Luncheon — a signature event of ASU Homecoming. Get exclusive, up-close interaction with ASU football legends, coaches and Sun Devil Athletics leadership.
Join the ASU Alumni Association and the Sun Devil Club this year as we celebrate the silver anniversary of the 1996–97 Pac-10 champions. Key players including Jake “The Snake” Plummer, Pat Tillman and Keith Poole led the team to an 11-0 season leading up to the final game at the Rose Bowl against the Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Homecoming: Oct. 24–30
At ASU Homecoming, discover festivities for all ages. Light up “A” Mountain at the Lantern Walk, experience the floats and fanfare of the Homecoming parade on game day, and don’t miss the block party with hundreds of fun, family-friendly activities.
On Saturday, Oct. 30, don your black apparel for the blackout Homecoming game against the Washington State Cougars.
