Women's golf tops first Triangular Meet


The ninth-ranked Arizona State women's golf team won in it's first ever Triangular Meet with No. 10 University of Arizona and the University of New Mexico at Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

The Sun Devils shot a 5-over 293 to take the Tri Meet title, which featured a prize of M&M's for the team and individual champion. Arizona's Kendyll Ardoin, who won the individual title with the low round of 68, also took home a bag of candy for her victory.

Individually for Arizona State, junior Carlota Ciganda shot a 1-under 71 with the lowest round of the Sun Devils. Freshman Justine Lee shot a career-low 73 for the one-day mach. Freshman Laura Blanco shot a 2-over 74, while junior Giulia Molinaro shot a 75. Freshman Daniela Ordonez rounded out the ASU line-up with a 78.

The Sun Devils next travel to Hawaii to compete in the Donnis Thompson Invitational, Mar. 14-15 and will face the University of Hawaii in a dual meet on Mar. 16.
