Women's golf hosts Annual PING/ASU Invitational

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/photos/schools/asu/sports/w-golf/auto_pdf/…; target="_blank">Tournament Quick Facts<br></a><a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/asu-w-golf-stats2011.htm…; target="_blank"><br></a><span style="color: #000000; font-weight: normal;">The 11th-ranked Arizona State women’s golf team returns home to the ASU Karsten golf course to host the 37th Annual PING/ASU Intercollegiate, Apr. 1-3, in Tempe, Ariz. Over the course of the Sun Devil’s long-standing home tournament, Arizona State has won the team championship a total of 17 times, most recently with a victory in 2007.</span></strong></p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">The field for the tournament features nine teams ranked in the top-25 according to Golfstat, including No. 1 USC and No. 2 UCLA. PING/ASU Intercollegiate will also serve as a preview of competition for the Pac-10 conference title, as the ASU Karsten Golf Course will serve as host for the 2011 Pac-10 women’s golf Championships, Apr. 17-19.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal"><strong><a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/asu-w-golf-stats2011.htm…; target="_blank">2011 Team Statistics&nbsp;</a></strong></p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Competing in the PING/ASU Intercollegiate: <span>Arizona State, Arizona, California, Denver, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Stanford, Texas, TCU, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington, Washington State.</span></p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">The 54-hole tournament will be played over the course of three days, with 18 holes played each day. Tee times for Friday and Saturday will begin at 8 a.m. PT, with golfers teeing off on holes one and 10. On Sunday, tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. PT.
