Women's Golf Finishes in Fourth at NCAA Fall Preview


Albuquerque, N.M. - The second-ranked Arizona State women's golf team finished in fourth place at the 2007 NCAA Fall Preview in Albuquerque, N.M. ASU shot a 2-under 874 (295-287-292) at the par-73, 6,351-yard UNM Championship Course. Duke took the top-spot, shooting 16-under for the tournament.

Junior All-American Azahara Munoz led the Sun Devils, shooting a 7-under 212 (72-70-70) to finish in fifth place. Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist tied for eighth after shooting a 5-under 214 (74-71-69). Sophomore Juliana Murcia shot a 2-over 221 (71-73-77) to finish in a tie for 21st. Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn tied for 51st after shooting an 8-over 227 (78-75-77). Senior Camila Sola shot an 11-over 230 (78-75-77) to tie for 61st. Senior Brooke Todare, playing as an individual, finished in 89th after shooting an 11-over 244 (82-77-85).

USC's Dewi Schreefel finished in first place after shooting a 15-under 204 for the three-day event.

Next up, the Sun Devils travel to Seattle, Wash., to compete in the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational.
