Women's Basketball announces promotions for the 2008-2009 Home Season

The 2008-2009 Arizona State University Women's Basketball home season will feature many promotions this season, including discounts for groups, buy 1 get 1 FREE Sundays in December, "Gold Game" vs. Arizona, the 3rd annual Pink-Zone/Breast Cancer Awareness game, and the NCAA/Pac-10 "Pack the House Challenge. In addition to these promotions, a canned food drive, family fun day, and the 3rd annual Sparky's Kids to College Field Trip highlight this season's community outreach initiatives.  Multiple nights throughout the season will feature exclusive giveaways such as trading card sets, t-shirts, pom-poms, and the Wells Fargo commemorative poster series featuring Lauren Lacey.

The home season tips off Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30 p.m. when the Sun Devils host the Houston Jaguars in the Select-A-Seat Night at Wells Fargo Arena. The Select-a-Seat event is FREE and open to the public. Great season tickets are still available for the 17-game home stand. This is your chance to pick out your season ticket for the 2008-2009 season. ASU ticket office personnel will be on hand to assist with the purchase.

Groups of 15 or more will receive $3 admission per person at any home game this season.  Fans may pre-order group tickets and receive exclusive group benefits including team posters, autographs, a visit from Sparky in the stands, autographed Sun Devil Athletics items, and a chance to participate in a game-day promotion. Fans can make history this season by participating in the NCAA/Pac-10 "Pack the House" challenge inside Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, January 2nd when the Devils take on Pac-10 rival, Stanford, at 6:30 p.m.  Fans who cannot attend the game are encouraged to help by donating tickets back to ASU Women's Basketball for distribution to local youth organizations.  This is your chance to help ASU win the 2009 NCAA/Pac-10 "Pack the House" challenge. At the challenge the first 350 fans in the door will receive Pink Zone Piggy Banks. At the California game, Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM, 100 additional banks will be available. We ask that you "Save change. Change lives" and return these banks at the Pink-Zone game February 7th, 2009. In an effort to spread breast cancer awareness, ASU Women's Basketball will hold its 3rd annual Pink-Zone game on February 7th  Fans wearing pink colored clothing will receive $3 admission to the game. We also ask that any fan who received a Pink Zone Piggy bank at the Stanford or California games bring their donations to this event for FREE admission. Representatives from local breast cancer awareness organizations will be available to meet with fans about participation and volunteer opportunities in the valley. Additionally, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is also hosting their 3rd when they host rival, Oregon State at 4:00 p.m. annual Pink Zone, formerly known as "Think Pink" week February 13-22, 2008 and Arizona State is just one of the many schools participating.

Junior Sun Devil Club

Sparky and Roxie have partnered to create a fun and exciting Sun Devil kid's club giving our young fans the opportunity to see year round Sun Devil Athletics and offer invitations to exclusive club events. Membership is just $25 and includes admission to 6 Men's Basketball Games, Women's Basketball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Baseball, and Softball.

This is also your chance to enroll in the Hoop Devils Kids club, the official kids club of ASU Women's Basketball. In addition to everything you receive as a member of the Junior Sun Devil Club, including free admission to all women's basketball games, you will receive a special seating section, pizza party with the team, and additional benefits.
