Senior Lynlee Smith and junior Bella Morrison competed for New Zealand at the 2010 FINA World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand, Aug. 17-22. Smith finished the tournament with seven goals, including a pair against both Australia and Russia, and Morrison, a new addition to the senior team, saw action in all six games.

Representing South Africa, both senior Sarah Harris and junior Kelsey White started and played most of every game at the World League, played in Greece and France.

Participating at the European Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, Aug. 31 to Sept. 10, junior Mariam Salloum recorded two goals and three assists while starting all four games. She helped Germany to a tie against heavily-favored Hungary with a goal and an assist. Germany also played in the World League, defeating Italy twice, England and South Africa.

Sophomore Shannon Haas was captain of the United States team at the Junior Pan-Am Games played in Pinecrest, Fla. Haas scored goals and drew a lot of exclusions in leading the US team to a silver medal.
