Volleyball to kick-off 2008 campaign hosting ASU Sheraton Classic

The Arizona State Sun Devil Women’s Volleyball Team (0-0 overall, 0-0 Pac-10) will take to the floor for their 2008 debut under new Coach Jason Watson, who will begin his tenure this Friday as the Sun Devils host the ASU Sheraton Classic featuring South Carolina, UNLV and Dayton. Matches will begin Friday and run through Saturday afternoon prior to ASU’s opening football game.


The schedule is as follows:

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 29

Dayton vs. UNLV

10:00 am

South Carolina vs. Arizona State

12:00 pm

South Carolina vs. Dayton

5:00 pm

UNLV vs. Arizona State

7:00 pm

SATURDAY, AUGUST 30

UNLV vs. South Carolina

11:00 am

Arizona State vs. Dayton

1:00 pm

All times are Pacific and all games will be held at ASU’s Wells Fargo Arena.

 

 

 

Extra! Extra! Read All About...Parking This Weekend:

With the ASU Football team taking the field as well on Saturday night, parking  will still be available for volleyball fans in Structure 5 (On veteran’s way, southside of WFA) and Structure 7 (On Packard Drive, east side of WFA) if the attendants are informed that you are there for the tournament. ASU asks that fans try to clear their cars out of the structures by 5 p.m. however, as cars without football parking passes and/or a school parking decal for those lots are at risk of receiving a parking citation.
