Victor Rudd named ASU Male Athlete of the Week

<p> Men's basketball player <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/rudd_victor00.html">Vi… Rudd</a> has been named ASU's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 19th. Rudd made his biggest contributions to date and gave Sun Devil fans a glimpse of what is to come from the talented freshman. His efforts allowed the Sun Devils to capture a non-conference win over Delaware State.</p><separator></separator><p>This past Saturday, Rudd led the Sun Devils to a 76-34 victory over Delaware State. The freshman forward from Los Angeles, Calif. scored a season-high 15 points. He also collected 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. His strong effort off the bench aided the Sun Devils as they scored 40 bench points, which ties the mark for the most in the <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/sendek_herb00.html">He… Sendek</a> era. Rudd has his shot working as he shot a scintillating 85.7 (6-7) from the field including 75% (3-4) from downtown. Rudd and the Sun Devils now prepare for their tough match-up versus San Diego State on December 19th at 4:30 PM.</p>
