UFC's Dollaway to sign free autographs at wrestling dual

January 20, 2009

Former Arizona State University wrestling All-American and current mixed martial arts fighter C.B. Dollaway will be on hand Friday night at the Sun Devil’s 7 p.m. dual with No. 9 Minnesota to sign free autographs for all fans in attendance. The dual also will be the team’s ‘Gold Game’ for the season with all fans encouraged to wear gold to support the Sun Devils.

Dollaway, known as ‘The Doberman’ in the world of MMA, was an All-American at 184 pounds for the Sun Devils in 2006 before earning his degree from the University. From there, he began training at Arizona Combat Sports in Tempe and eventually earned a spot on the seventh season of The Ultimate Fighter, a feeder show for the UFC. Dollaway was that season’s runner-up and has since then fought in the largest and most-known organization in the world.

Fans that wish to receive and autograph from the former Sun Devil will have two chances on Friday. Dollaway will sign autographs for 15 minutes prior to the start of the dual and then will again sign for about 30 minutes following the dual with both signings taking place on the area floor.
