May 05, 2009

The Arizona State women's tennis team had two players named to the Pacific-10 All-Conference Team. Kelcy McKenna and Nadia Abdala each received conference honors.

McKenna was named to the First-Team after being named second-team last season. McKenna is currently ranked eighth by the ITA with a 32-12 record. She won the ITA All-American Singles Championship in October.

This is the third time Abdala has been named to an All-Pac-10 team. Currently ranked 46th, Abdala was selected to the Second-Team for the second time. Last season, she was awarded first-team honors.

Both Abdala and McKenna will compete in the NCAA Individual Championship later in the month. This weekend they will compete with the rest of the Sun Devils at the first round of the NCAA Championships. The Sun Devils will take on UNLV on Saturday.
