Three women's swimmers set for NCAA Championships


<p>This Week:<br />Three members of the Arizona State women's swimming team have their tickets ready to College Station, Texas, as they head to the NCAA Championships. <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/aubry_ashton00.html">Ashton Aubry</a> and <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/beckberger_jen00.html">Jen Beckberger</a> will be making their second trip to the NCAA Championships while freshman <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/green_jordyn00.html">Jordyn Green</a> is set to make her debut. The NCAA Championships will be held March 19-21 at the Student Rec Center Natatorium in College Station, Texas.</p><separator></separator><p>ASU at the NCAA Championships:<br />The Arizona State women's swimming team has produced 107 All-Americans in their prestigious history. Last season at the NCAA Championships, <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/andrew_caitlin00.html">Caitlin Andrew</a> earned All-American honors in the 100 fly and honorable mention honors in the 50 and 100 free. The relay teams of Andrew, Beckberger, <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/brown_lindsey00.html">Lindsey Brown</a> and <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/perazzo_jess00.html">Jess Perazzo</a> were named honorable mention All-Americans in the 200 and 400 free relays. Andrew, Beckberger, Brown and <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/russenberger_lindsey00.html">Lindsey Russenberger</a> also garnered honorable mention All-American accolades in the 200 medley relay.</p><separator></separator><p>One Last Go Around:<br />Senior <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/beckberger_jen00.html">Jen Beckberger</a> will make her third and final appearance at an NCAA Championship. The Canadian senior earned honorable mention All-American honors as a member of the 200 and 400 free relays as well as the 200 medley last season. Beckberger, who served as one of the team captains this season, is currently second on ASU's list in the 50 and 200 free and third in the 100 free.</p><separator></separator><p>Go Green:<br /><a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/green_jordyn00.html">Jordyn Green</a> will extend her freshman season with a trip to College Station. The freshman breaststroke specialist earned her NCAA bid by clocking in the 25th fastest 200 breast time in Division I. Green notched a time of 2:11.30. Green will also compete in the 100 breast at the NCAA Championships. Green was the lone Sun Devil to reach the championship final of two events at the Pac-10 Championships.</p><separator></separator><p>Madam Butterfly<br /><a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/aubry_ashton00.html">Ashton Aubry</a> has set out as one of the nation's top fliers. Making her second trip to the NCAA Championships, the junior is currently 12th in the 100 fly with a time of 52.11 and 21st in the 200 fly at 1:56.37. Aubry recently broke ASU's 200 fly record, overcoming <a href="/sports/c-swim/mtt/baham_sarah00.html">Sarah Baham's</a> previous record of 1:56.81.</p>
