Tennis places two doubles teams in ITA West Regional semifinal

The Sun Devil Women's Tennis Team continued their doubles dominance as day three of the ITA West Regional continued on Saturday in San Diego. The double duos of Laila and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/abdala_nadia00.html">N… Abdala</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/mckenna_kelcy00.html">… McKenna</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/hein_micaela00.html">M… Hein</a> all succeeded in advancing to the semifinals of their brackets with play continuing tomorrow.<separator></separator>First up on the day for the Devils was the top-seeded Laila and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/abdala_nadia00.html">N… Abdala</a> who took on the USC duo of Lyndsay Kinstler and Alison Ramos in the quarterfinal round, but the Women of Troy proved to be no match for the wily Sun Devils to rolled to an 8-3 win to set themsevles up for a semifinal match-up against the fourth-seeded USC team of Gabriela Niculescu and Maria Sanchez who they'll face tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.<separator></separator>The second-seeded team of <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/mckenna_kelcy00.html">… McKenna</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/hein_micaela00.html">M… Hein</a> also came out strong in their match, as they took an 8-4 win over the nine-seed duo of Cristala Andrews and Amanda Fink, also of USC in the quarterfinals to find themselves slated to face Long Beach State's Hannah Grady and Stephanie Jeanes tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. with a trip to the finals on the line as well.<separator></separator>The Sun Devils will return to action in the ITA West Regional Championships tomorrow where they'll look to advance in both the Doubles Main Bracket and Singles Consolations brackets.
