Ten ASU Soccer players named to Pac-10 All-Academic Team


<p>Ten members of the Arizona State women's soccer program earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors, according to an announcement by the conference office on Thursday.</p><separator></separator><p>Included among the 10 players were three first-team members - junior <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/harkin_liz00.html">Liz Harkin</a>, sophomore <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/elston_alexandra00.htm… Elston</a> and redshirt freshman <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/long_erica00.html">Eri… Long</a> - and one second team member - sophomore <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/volpe_karin00.html">Ka… Volpe</a>.</p><separator></separator><p>ASU's three first-team players tied Stanford for the most in the Pac-10 Harkin, who holds 3.90 GPA in biology &amp; society, was named to the first team for the second consecutive season while Elston (4.04 GPA/exploratory) and Long (3.96/journalism and mass communication) both earned first-team honors in their first year of eligibility.</p><separator></separator><p>Volpe, the lone Sun Devil on the second team, has a 3.59 GPA (exploratory).
