Sun Devils rout Northern Arizona

Danielle Orsillo scored 13 of her 16 points in the first half as No. 25 Arizona State beat Northern Arizona 91-65 on Sunday in the championship of the ASU Classic.

Dymond Simon added 12 points and four assists and Sybil Dosty had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Sun Devils (6-2).

Sade Cunningham had 16 points and Katie Schafer added 14 for the Lumberjacks (2-7).

The Sun Devils scored the game's first 10 points and never led by less than nine the rest of the way.

Northern Arizona missed 11 of its first 15 shots and trailed 22-9 with 9:14 left in the first half.

Orsillo, who missed last season with a knee injury, was 5-of-8 from the field, including two 3-pointers, to lead the Sun Devils to a 45-27 halftime lead.

Northern Arizona committed 21 turnovers and were outrebounded 41-29.
