Sun Devil water polo falls at No. 2 Stanford, 12-6


<p align="justify">The No. 10 Arizona State University water polo received two goals each from <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-wpolo/mtt/mcgrath_addison00.html"… McGrath</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-wpolo/mtt/wagner_kristen00.html">… Wagner</a>, but it was not enough as No. 2 Stanford secured a 12-6 victory Sunday afternoon in Palo Alto, Calif. The Sun Devils slipped to 11-8 on the year and 1-3 in the MPSF while the Cardinal improved to 11-2 overall and 3-0 in the MPSF.</p><separator></separator><p align="justify">The hosts took a 3-1 lead through the first quarter before extending that lead to 6-2 at the half. A 4-1 score for SU in the third brought the score to 10-3 before ASU outscored the Cardinal, 3-2, in the final stanza for the 12-6 final. McGrath and Wagner were joined in the scoring column by <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-wpolo/mtt/miles_bonnie00.html">Bo… Miles</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-wpolo/mtt/walsh_kari00.html">Kari Walsh</a>, who both scored once.
