Sun Devil volleyball to host Collegiate Sand Volleyball Tournament
<p> The Sun Devil Volleyball Team is proud to announce that they will be the host of the first Arizona Collegiate Sand Volleyball Tournament this Saturday, April 25. There will be 20 teams from six different Arizona colleges and universities that will be placed in four-team pools where they will play out their pools. Play begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. at the Victory Lane Sports Complex in North Phoenix.</p><separator></separator><p>Admission to the event is $2.00, with more information on the event available <a href="http://www.sundevilvolleyball.com/collegiate-sand-volleyball">here. </a></p><separator></separator><p>Head Coach of the Arizona State Volleyball program, <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-volley/mtt/watson_jason00.html">J… Watson</a> also remarked on the event that, "I'm excited our program has an opportunity to host this event. Sand Volleyball is an emerging NCAA sport and its potential at ASU is tremendous. I'm thankful for the support of our administration and the local volleyball community in organizing this event. My goal is to make this an annual event and ensure sand volleyball is a viable and supported program at ASU."</p>
