The Arizona State University baseball team was named the No. 5 national seed in the 2009 NCAA Baseball Tournament, and the Sun Devils will face Mid-American Conference champion Kent State in their opening game of the tournament on May 29 at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.

Summit League champion Oral Roberts and Cal Poly of the Big West Conference were also sent to the Tempe Regional.

Game One Friday will feature Oral Roberts vs. Cal Poly at 2 p.m., followed by Arizona State vs. Kent State at 7 p.m. from Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.
