Summer arts festival features staff


<p>There&#39;s no doubt about it: ASU&#39;s staff is a talented group.</p><separator></separator><p>For the first time, ASU staff members will have a chance to “strut their stuff” during a summer arts festival on the Tempe campus during the month of July.</p><separator></separator><p>The Memorial Union Program and Activities and Classified Staff Council are sponsoring this first-ever staff arts festival.</p><separator></separator><p>All staff members who sing, play an instrument, have a band, paint, write poetry, create ceramics or jewelry, weave, knit, make lace, write stories or do anything else creative are invited to share their talents.</p><separator></separator><p>Meanwhile, the festival needs a name – and a committee to help plan it.</p><separator></separator><p>Names for the festival can be submitted to Lisa Campbell, ASU Media Relations, at (480) 965-3502 or <a href="/lisa.campbell@asu.edu">lisa.campbell@asu.edu</a>, or Britt Engle, ASU Insight, at (480) 965-9370 or <a href="/britt18@asu.edu">britt18@asu.edu</a>.</p><separator></separator><p>The deadline is June 8.
