Student Hall of Fame Awards


The Student Organization Resource Center (SORC), within Student Engagement, sponsors its annual awards program to recognize student leaders and organizations.  Awards are given to individuals and groups that exhibit characteristics of the Sun Devil Way – Achievement, Engagement, Responsibility – and are given for programming, leadership and service.

Here is the list of winners from the recent SORC Hall of Fame awards:

• Outstanding Academic/Educational Program: Alpha Epsilon Delta- Annual Pre-medical Suture Clinic.

• Outstanding Diversity/Multicultural Program: Coalition of International Students- International Night.

• Outstanding Social/Entertainment Program: Residence Hall Association, Manzy Hall Council- Manzy Murder Mystery.

• Collaborative Program: PAB, USG, RHA, 5 Greek Councils- Fall Welcome Concert.

• Outstanding Annual Program: African American Men of ASU-High School to College Program.

• Best Use of Orgsync: American Marketing Association.

• Web Design: Golden Key-ASU.

• Social Consciousness: Schools for Schools of ASU.

• Individual Achievement in Service: Katie Zinn.

• Group Service Participation: Camp Kesem 2010.

• ASU Community Footprint: Health and Counseling Student Action Committee.

• Outstanding Advisor (Professional): Dan Ashlock, Undergraduate Student Government.

• Outstanding Advisor (Volunteer): Kim Novak, Pi Kappa Phi.

• Most Promising New Organization: Lambda Chi Alpha.

• Outstanding Student Leader: Christopher Gast.

• Outstanding Graduate Organization: Communication Graduate Students Organization.

• Outstanding Undergraduate Organization (University sponsored): Health and Counseling Student Action Committee.

• Outstanding Undergraduate Organization (student-supported): S.T.E.P Multicultural Honor Society.
