Student code of conduct

<p>With a new academic year beginning at the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus, the Office of Student Rights &amp; Responsibilities (OSRR) reminds the campus community about the department’s role and responsibilities regarding inappropriate student behavior and/or misconduct.</p><separator></separator><p><br />OSRR is responsible for upholding university standards set forth by the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) in the student Code of Conduct &amp; Student Disciplinary Procedures.  If a situation arises involving a student in a classroom, office or other on-campus location that is believed to be inappropriate or constitutes disruptive conduct, an incident report may be filed with OSRR.<br />To file an incident report, complete the attached campus community incident report and return to <a href="mailto:conduct-dpc@asu.edu">conduct-dpc@asu.edu</a&gt;. The report is also available at: <a href="http://www.asu.edu/downtownphoenix/student-campus-development/documents…;.  OSRR reviews all reports and determines whether or not the student(s) may have violated the code of conduct.  The OSRR will contact the student about the incident and follow up with staff/faculty who initiated the report.</p><separator></separator><p><br />If you’re unsure about filing a report and need to discuss the incident or any other issues related to student behavior, feel free to contact Lorrie Miller, assistant director for student rights &amp; responsibilities at (602) 496-4111 or via email at: <a href="mailto:lorrie.miller@asu.edu">lorrie.miller@asu.edu</a&gt;.   Access a summary of the ABOR Student Code of Conduct and Student Disciplinary Procedures at: <a href="http://www.abor.asu.edu/1_the_regents/policymanual/chap5/5-303.pdf">htt…;.  To view this document in greater detail, please visit: <a href="http://www.abor.asu.edu/1_the_regents/policymanual/chap5/chapter_v.htm#…;. </p>
