State Press receives prestigious awards

ASU Student Media products and student staff were recently recognized for their achievements in reporting, design and overall innovation. ASU Student Media publishes The State Press,, and numerous specialty publications. was awarded the prestigious “Pacemaker” award by the Associated Collegiate Press. Largely considered the “Pulitzer Prizes” of student journalism, the Pacemaker designation is considered to be the highest honor a student publication can receive. received the designation along with only 11 other universities in the country. The State Press print edition was a Pacemaker finalist, finishing among the top nine universities in the country.
