The Sun Devil Softball squad (40-13 overall, 9-9 Pac-10) return home to the friendly confines of Farrington Stadium this weekend to close the 2010 season against the best there is; the top-ranked Washington Huskies (43-5, 15-3 Pac-10). Games will be Thursday and Friday night at 7 p.m. and Saturday at noon. Thursday night’s game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net Arizona.

Series history
The series history between the Sun Devils and the Huskies is relatively young in terms of ASU history, but the Huskies have been a thorn in the side of the Sun Devils in their 17 year history. In that time the two foes have met up 63 times. Washington holds the distinct upper hand in this one as they have won 46 games to ASU’s 17. In the 2009 season the Sun Devils went 1-3 against the Huskies with their finale ending fittingly at the WCWS where UW squeaked out an extra inning win en route to the National Title. All-time, Head Coach Clint Myers against the Huskies is 7-6.

Up next
The Sun Devils will await to see where the next turn in the 2010 season as the NCAA Softball Postseason Selection show kicks-off on Sunday.

Non-stop until they reach the top
Since Clint Myers took the reigns on the Sun Devil program, the Sun Devils have set numerous new records in the rankings department, which looks to only continue in the 2010 season. Thus far:
