Softball places three on CoSIDA/ESPN All-Academic First-Team


<p>The Sun Devil Softball team saw three members of its 2009 squad named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine All-Academic First Team with <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-softbl/mtt/cochran_kaitlin00.html… Cochran</a>, <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-softbl/mtt/mapes_jessica00.html">… Mapes</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-softbl/mtt/donnenwirth_krista00.h… Donnenwirth</a> all claiming the accolade. ASU's three first-team members is the most of any Pac-10 school.</p><separator></separator><p>Cochran, a senior outfielder from Yorba Linda, Calif. currently holds a 3.51 GPA as a Secondary Education major focused in Mathematics. The award is her third career honor.</p><separator></separator><p>Donnenwirth, a sophomore from Mission, Viejo, Calif. holds a 3.53 GPA as a Psychology major with the award being her first.</p><separator></separator><p>Mapes, a senior from Tempe, Ariz. holds a 4.11 GPA as a Human and Family Studies major for her second career CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine award.</p>
