The tournament started with a bang for the Devils, who beat Embry-Riddle University 10-1 in Game 1.

In Game 2, the Devils took on Division II Grand Canyon University and won 5-0.

Game 3 was a battle and the toughest game of the day, but the Devils managed to beat the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP) 2-1.

In their fourth game of the day the Devils found themselves playing a women's club team from Banat Soccer Club, which ASU defeated 6-0 for their second shutout of the afternoon.

And in the final game of the afternoon, the Sun Devils took on host Arizona. ASU got on the scoreboard quickly, with Karin Volpe scoring about 12 seconds into the game. However, UofA answered right back to tie the game at 1-1 inside of the first minute. But the next 29 minutes it was all Devils as they pulled away for a 6-1 victory and the 7v7 tournament crown.
