Soccer student-athletes honored with Academic Pac-10 accolades
<p> TEMPE, Ariz. - Eleven members of the Arizona State soccer program earned Academic All-Pac-10 honors Thursday. Seniors <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/felts_kyleyn00.html">K… Felts</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/oldenkamp_alissa00.htm… Oldenkamp</a> and sophomore <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/harkin_liz00.html">Liz Harkin</a> all received first team honors.</p><separator></separator><p>Felts, who holds a 4.0 GPA in graphic design, became only the third Sun Devil to earn first team honors all three years she was eligible. Former players <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/lepeilbet_amy00.html">… LePeilbet</a> (2001, 2002, 2003) and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/bingham_kim00.html">Kim Bingham</a> (2004, 2005, 2006) were the first two student-athletes to make the list for three straight seasons.</p><separator></separator><p>Oldenkamp, who garnered first team honors in 2005, earned her third career accolades as she carries a 3.89 GPA in business management. She was named to the second team in 2006.</p><separator></separator><p>Harkin was the only sophomore named to the first team in 2007. She holds a 4.0 GPA in kinesiology.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils also had eight student-athletes named to the honorable mention list. Kicking off the list are seniors <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/kezer_lara00.html">Lara Kezer</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/niblett_lauren00.html"… Niblett</a>, who both earned their third career academic Pac-10 honors. Junior <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/sjoman_kylla00.html">K… Sjoman</a> was named to the honorable mention list for the second straight season.
