Six Sun Devils earn mid-season All-Pac-10 Honors from Phil Steele
Six Sun Devil football student-athletes were honored by Phil Steel as Mid-Season All-Pac-10 selections, while Mike Nixon earned Fourth Team Mid-Season All-American honors.
Senior linebacker Mike Nixon headlines the Sun Devils who were honored, earning First Team Mid-Season All-Pac-10 honors in addition to the Fourth Team All-American choice. Nixon (Phoenix, Ariz.) leads the Sun Devils in tackles and is tied for the team lead in interceptions.
Senior wide receivers Chris McGaha (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Kyle Williams (Scottsdale, Ariz.), offensive lineman Shawn Lauvao (Honolulu, Hawai'i) and safety Jarrell Holman (North Las Vegas, Nev.) all earned Second Team honors, while punter Trevor Hankins (Scottsdale, Ariz.) was named to the Third Team.
