Severe weather cancels events
<p>Due to inclement weather and field conditions the ASU Softball Annual Meet, Greet and Select-A-Seat event and free clinic scheduled for this Saturday, January 23 has been postponed. At this point no reschedule date has been selected, but will be released immediately when decided upon.</p><separator></separator><p>Similarly, the Friday Night Challenge, the first meet of the 2010 indoor track & field season for ASU, has been postponed until Saturday morning due to a winter snow storm that has blanketed the Flagstaff area, Northern Arizona University announced today. Originally scheduled to begin with field events at 4:30 p.m. and running events at 6:20 p.m., the meet will be held starting with field events at 11:30 a.m. and running events at noon on Saturday. The location of the meet will remain inside the Walkup Skydome on the NAU campus.</p><separator></separator><p>The wrestling dual scheduled for tonight (Friday, January 22) at 8 p.m. between Arizona State University and the University of Nebraska has been cancelled, Head Coach <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-wrestl/mtt/charles_shawn00.html">… Charles</a> announced this morning. NU was unable to travel to Tempe as its flight from Omaha to Phoenix was canceled due to the massive winter storm that hit the state of Arizona Thursday.</p><separator></separator><p>ASU Athletics regrets any inconvenience these cancellations may have produced.
