The Arizona State men's golf team is in sixth place entering the third round of the Amer Ari Invitational in Waikoloa, Hawaii following a 6-under par 278 in round two. The Sun Devils are 10 strokes behind the leader at 15-under par 561 (279-282).

Seniors Jesper Kennegard (67-71) and Scott Pinckney (70-68) are tied for ninth place among all competitors at 6-under par 138. Pinckney, playing as an individual, tied the team-low with a 4-under par 68, while Kennegard shot a 1-under par 71.

Senior Oscar Zetterwall sits one stroke back at 5-under par 139 (71-68) after moving up 17 spots into a tie for 14th with a 4-under par 68 in the second round.

Junior Philip Francis recorded a 1-over par 73 and is tied for 30th at 2-under par 142 (69-73), followed by seniorJames Byrne, who improved to 49th after shooting a 2-under par 70 and is at an even par 144 (74-70). SeniorThomas Buran carded a 2-over par 74 and is tied for 66th with a 2-over par 146 (72-74).

Oklahoma State is in first place at 25-under par 551 (278-273) and leads second-place UCLA (285-273) by seven strokes. Texas Tech is in third at 17-under par 559 (284-275), followed by Georgia Tech (278-282) and Texas (282-278) in a tie for fourth at 16-under par 560.
