Sarah Reaves named ASU Female Athlete of the Week

Women's volleyball player Sarah Reaves has been named ASU's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 3rd. Reaves was spectacular over the weekend recording a .240 attack percentage and back-to-back double-double performances. Her efforts helped the Sun Devils capture a victory over the UCLA Bruins and a near upset of USC.

Reaves hit .240 over the weekend with a 5.00 kills per set average to lead the Sun Devils to a split with the LA schools. She collected 35 kills over the weekend, 15 against UCLA for a .244 attack percentage in ASU's first win over the Bruins since 2002. In addition to her 20 kills against USC, Reaves also posted back-to-back double-doubles with double digits in kills and digs both nights for her third and fourth double-doubles on the season and 26th and 27th of her career.
