Pat's Run registration updates

The fourth annual Pat's Run will take place on April 19, and organizers are expecting many participants to register in-person beginning on April 16 at Sun Devil Stadium. It is important for those participants to take note of the new registration location, now at the north end of Sun Devil Stadium. Volunteers will have registration tables set up from Wednesday, April 16 until Friday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Registration will also be available the morning of the event at Packard Drive and Rio Salado Drive.<separator></separator>Pat's Run will be on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 7 a.m. at Sun Devil Stadium. The 4.2 mile run / walk will finish on the 42-yard line of Sun Devil Stadium, where Tillman wore jersey number "42" as an Arizona State Sun Devil.<separator></separator>Pat's Run is one of the primary fundraising events for the <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/tillman_pat00.html">Pat Tillman</a> Foundation, which was created after the untimely death of former ASU and Arizona Cardinal's football star. Friends and family created the Foundation with the same integrity and passion that Tillman embodied throughout his life. Today, the Foundation helps support the Tillman Scholars of ASU, empowering them to make a positive impact in our society.<separator></separator>The family event features an expo, Canine Corner, live entertainment, food vendors and a free 0.42 mile Kids Run for registered kids age 12 and under. Volunteers are still needed for this year's race. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up on the Pat's Run website.<separator></separator>The event raises funds for The <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/tillman_pat00.html">Pat Tillman</a> Foundation's flagship program, Leadership Through ActionTM at the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU, which develops the leadership skills of carefully selected "Tillman Scholars."
