Nordqvist, Wooten named Arizona State Athletes of the Week

<p> <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/nordqvist_anna00.html">A… Nordqvist</a> (Women's Golf) and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/wooten_morris00.html">… Wooten</a> (Football) have been named ASU's Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 1. Both gave standout performances in their respective sports.</p><separator></separator><p>Nordqvist shot a 9-under 207 (70-67-70) to help lead the Sun Devils to their second tournament win of the season and to her first individual tournament win. She tied her round low of 5-under 67 for the fourth time in her career to lead her to her first outright tournament victory since the 2007 PING/ASU Invitational and second all-time. Nordqvist finished four strokes ahead of second place.</p><separator></separator><p>Wooten gained his first career interception on Saturday, that he returned 24 yards to set up ASU's first touchdown against Oregon. Wooten also had his second fumble recovery in as many games.</p>
