Nominations sought for graduating student awards


<p>The ASU Office of Public Affairs invites ASU faculty and staff, or representatives of a community service organization, to nominate a graduating ASU student for this fall’s Jose Ronstadt Outstanding Undergraduate Award and/or the Ed Pastor Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Award recipients will be recognized during the fall 2010 Hispanic Convocation ceremony at 1: 30 p.m., Dec. 17, at Gammage Auditorium.</p><separator></separator><p>Any member of the ASU faculty or staff, or a representative of a community service organization, may nominate a graduating ASU student.</p><separator></separator><p>Honorees will be selected based on the following:<br />•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Academic achievements, GPA, and other academic recognitions (honors, scholarships, awards)<br />•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Community service &amp; volunteer activities while attending ASU<br />•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Engagement/involvement/leadership in ASU organizations and/or in the community</p><separator></separator><p>The application and all required materials must be received no later than Friday, November 19, 2010.
