Murcia named Golf World College Player of the Week
<p> Junior golfer <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/murcia_juliana00.html">J… Murcia</a> earned her second honor of the week as Golf World announced that is she is the Female College Player of the Week. Murcia had previously been Golfweek's Player of the Week.</p><separator></separator><p>Murcia shot a one-over 214 at the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes (Calif.) Golf Club to win her first collegiate title. The Colombian native's play also helped ASU win the team title by 18 strokes over Wake Forest. Golf World's "College Players of the Week" section highlights a male and a female who have demonstrated outstanding individual play during a seven day period.
