Arizona State (11-18, 3-14 Pac-10) won in convincing fashion 73-53 over the Oregon Ducks (14-15, 7-10 Pac-10) tonight at Wells Fargo Arena. The Sun Devils swept the Ducks in the season series after beating them in Eugene earlier in the season.

It was a big night for the ASU seniors as Rihards Kuksiks and Ty Abbott both put up 22 points, combining for 13 three pointers. Jamelle McMillan added 11 points and six assists also putting up three from behind the arc. As a team, Arizona State shot 44.4 percent (16 of 36) from three. It was a season high in made shots and attempts from behind the arc. ASU shot 47.2 percent (25 of 53) from the field.

ASU jumped out to a lead early behind the shooting of Ty Abbott and were able to build on it through-out the half leading by 15 at one point. The Sun Devils put up 12 points off the bench to lead 38-26 at the half.

The Ducks made a run in the second half to bring the score to 51-45 with nine minutes to play but the Sun Devils accuracy from behind the arc paid off as they coasted to their 11th win of the season. ASU finished the game with a 22-8 run.

Jay-R Strowbridge led the Ducks with 17 points off of the bench. Oregon shot 29.6 percent (16 of 54) from the field and 34.5 percent (10 of 29) from three.

Arizona State takes on the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena for Senior Day. Seniors Ty Abbott,Jamelle McMillan and Rihards Kuksiks will be honored.
