Men's hoops hosting scrimmage prior to football game

The Arizona State men's basketball team will hold an open scrimmage on Saturday from 4-4:45 p.m., prior to the football team's Homecoming game (7:15 p.m. PT on FSN). Wells Fargo Arena gates will open at 3:30 p.m.

ASU ticket office personnel will be on hand as the event will include a select-a-seat. Football parking passes are good for this event.

Second-year head coach Herb Sendek returns four starters, including leading scorer and rebounder Jeff Pendergraph, and welcomes a six-man recruiting class that has been consistently ranked in the top 25.

The Sun Devils open the exhibition season Nov. 3 at noon against Grand Canyon, followed by a game against Western New Mexico at 7 p.m., Nov. 7. The Sun Devils open the season Nov. 19 against Illinois in the Maui Invitational. Tip time for the ESPN2 contest is 9:30 p.m. in Arizona (6:30 p.m. HT.
