McKenna returns home as an ITA All-American Champion

With her last loss coming September 20, Kelcy McKenna entered Sunday's ITA All-American Championship Finals on an eight-match winning streak, and she didn't disappoint. By the end of the day, Kelcy had added another straight-set win to her record with her 6-4, 6-3 win over Auburn's Fani Chifchieva to claim the title of ITA All-American Champion.

McKenna took control early in the match and never looked back. While Chifchieva hung tough, the effort wasn't enough as McKenna rattled off a straight-set win for her ninth consecutive win and an ITA All-American Championship. The title is the second for ASU in as many years as Roxanne Clarke and Kady Pooler won the doubles ITA Championship in 2006.

The Sun Devils will now rest between tournaments before gearing up for the National Individual Indoors in Charlottesvile, Va. November 6-9 and the ASU Thunderbird Invitational November 7-9 in Tempe.
