The 'Maker Movement' arrives at ASU
The "Maker Movement," a tech-enabled, do-it-yourself community that prizes hands-on experimentation in order to construct innovative solutions, has arrived at Arizona State University.
In a new episode of The Alumni Experience Podcast, ASU Magazine managing editor Liz Massey visits a "making and tinkering camp" hosted over the summer at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center for budding makers. Massey also tours TechShop Chandler, which offers access to industrial-strength tools to ASU students and the general public.
