Lawrence Guy named ASU Athlete of the Week

Guy consistently penetrated the offensive line of Washington State and led Arizona State's strong defensive effort in their 27-14 victory. His efforts continued the strong play of the Sun Devils front seven, as they currently rank 2nd in the nation in run defense (49.6 yards per game).</p><separator></separator><p>Guy had a dominating performance in ASU's close victory over Washington State on Saturday. His efforts contributed to another stellar performance by the defense, as he helped shut down the cougars offense with 5 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He recorded 3.5 tackles for loss, which contributed to 22 negative yards for Washington State's offense.</p>
