Kali Bennett named ASU Female Athlete of the Week

<p> Women's basketball player <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/bennett_kali00.html">K… Bennett</a> has been named ASU's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 5th. Her dominating performance in Hawaii led the Sun Devils to victories over the University of Hawai'i and East Tennessee State, thus capturing the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Bennett and the Sun Devils return home on December 4th to take part in the ASU Classic against Idaho State.</p><separator></separator><p>Bennett was named the MVP of the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic after averaging 15.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in ASU's wins over Hawaii and ETSU. She scored 15 points and grabbed a career-best 15 rebounds in win over Hawaii. She posted her second double-double in as many days with 15 points and 12 rebounds in win over ETSU. She hit 50 percent of her shots for the weekend.</p>
