Jarrell Holman named ASU Male Athlete of the Week

Safety Jarrell Holman has been named ASU's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 3rd. Holman caused three turnovers and led what is becoming a ball-hawk defense for Arizona State. His effort almost led the Sun Devils to an upset victory over the Georgia Bulldogs.

Holman had a dominating performance in ASU's close loss to Georgia on Saturday. His efforts contributed to another stellar performance by the defense and his 47-yard interception return for a touchdown gave the Sun Devils a 17-14 lead heading into the fourth quarter. He recorded 3 solo tackles, another interception, which gives him 2 for his career, and pounced on a fumble in the third quarter.
