HR connection – open enrollment deadline approaching FAST!

This year is a positive enrollment for benefits and that means that all faculty, staff and employees must participate in this process in order to continue their benefits. The deadline to enroll is Monday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. Changes to benefits take effect Oct. 1, 2007 for most plans. There are several changes for the upcoming year including:

* New Employee +1 Dependent coverage level (either spouse or dependent) at $50 per month.
* Increase of the annual physical limit from $250 to $1.500 per year.
* Increase of specialist co-payment from $10 to $20 per visit.
* Smoking and tobacco cessation coverage.

* Enroll and add/change dependents and beneficiaries (for Supplemental Life) at:  > (Faculty & Staff) Employee Self Service > Benefits > (Log in) > Benefits Enrollment
* IMPORTANT – Print the Enrollment Summary screen before you submit your final elections. This is your confirmation statement.  (Firefox or Safari users may want to copy and paste their confirmation statement if they experience difficulty printing this page.)
* Add beneficiaries for the Basic Life and AD&D Plan at: > (Faculty & Staff) Employee Self Service > Benefits > (Log in) > Benefits Summary > Life AD&D
