Head pastry chef to serve up treats at holiday bake sale

ASU Catering/ARAMARK will conduct a Holiday Bake Sale Nov. 23. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Scoular Lounge in the Memorial Union on the Tempe campus. All students, faculty, staff and community are welcome to attend the event.

The Holiday Bake Sale will feature specialty desserts including: pumpkin pie, carrot cake, red velvet cake and pecan pie. Pies at the bake sale can be purchased starting at $4.99. Desserts are available for purchase and pick-up throughout event. Payment methods are cash, credit, debit, M&G Dollars and Sun Dollars.

The Holiday Bake Sale will feature desserts made by Head Pastry Chef, Rosie Garcia. Rosie has been baking professionally for the past 38 years and has been the Head Pastry Chef at Arizona State University for the past 23 years. Rosie Garcia was the recipient of “Best Tasting Cake” at the “Cake at the Lake” competition in December 2009.
