Gymnastics unveils its 2009 schedule


<p>The Arizona State women's gymnastics team has unveiled its 2009 schedule. The Sun Devils, who be led by All-Pac-10 honored seniors <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-gym/mtt/hinkle_ashlee00.html">Ash… Hinkle</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-gym/mtt/jean_tiana00.html">Tiana Jean</a>, will host five home meets in 2009 and will face two of the top three teams from last season.</p><separator></separator><div><p>The Sun Devils open their season at home hosting Missouri on January 16. This is the first time the Sun Devils will open their season at home since 2004. After the season-opener, the Sun Devils head on January 23 to Palo Alto, Calif., to take on returning Pac-10 Champions and NCAA third-place finishers the Stanford Cardinal. ASU returns to Tempe on January 30 to host new assistant coach<a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-gym/mtt/dantzscher_jamie00.html">… Dantzscher's</a> alma mater, the UCLA Bruins.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils continue their streak of Pac-10 meets as they travel to Corvallis on February 6 to take on the Oregon Beavers before heading down to Tucson on February 20 to take on in-state rival Arizona.</p><separator></separator><p>On February 27, the Sun Devils will host the Washington Huskies. The Sun Devils then travel to Salt Lake City to take on long-time rival and 2008 NCAA runner-up Utah on March 6. The Sun Devils cap the regular season hosting Cal State Fullerton and NCAA Championship host Nebraska on March 13 in the annual UNO's Classic. That night will also mark Senior Night and will honor Hinkle and Jean.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils return eight gymnasts from the 2008 season. </p><separator></separator><p> </p><separator></separator><p> </p><separator></separator></div><p> </p>
