Guy named Freshman All-American by Sporting News

<p> Arizona State University defensive tackle <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/guy_lawrence00.html">L… Guy</a> earned Freshman All-American honors from Sporting News, the magazine announced today.</p><separator></separator><p>Guy (Las Vegas, Nev.) played in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2008, starting the final eight. He collected 44 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and two sacks on the season, and he scored a touchdown on a fumble return in ASU's 31-0 victory over Washington State on Nov. 15.</p><separator></separator><p>The 6-5, 280-pound Guy has also received First-Team Freshman All-American honors from CollegeFootballNews.com and he was Honorable Mention All-Pacific-10 Conference.<!-- STORY AD BEGINS HERE --></p>
